Samba Soccer Club provides players the opportunity to compete with other talented players from around the world. This program is not for the player who wants to go to Asia or Europe as a spectator; it is for the serious player who wants to play soccer at the next level. We identify and select players across state lines based upon talent, ability, and potential. Thus we have named the international tour team Samba Select. Each player receives ample playing time and is expected to work hard and maintain a positive attitude.

Even though winning soccer tournaments is one of our goals, we find that our players return with much more. A new sense of responsibility and maturity, a greater awareness of the world and the people who live in it, and new friendships are important by-products of our trips.
Our coaches are experienced and are familiar with the unique dynamics of international competition. They provide every player with the necessary training, personalized attention, encouragement, and discipline he/she needs to succeed.
In addition to the top level coaching, each tour is staffed with medical personnel/trainers to care for the players. We also have full-time management/administrative staff to ensure that all our players and travel logistics are handled with the utmost quality and attention.

- Why should my child engage in international travel with Samba?
- Your child has reached a high level in his/her soccer development; therefore, it is critical for them to be exposed to other players around the world at an advanced level. This program will help motivate, develop confidence, and pin-point the areas that he/she needs to develop to become a better player.
- What will my child gain from the experience?
- Soccer is the most popular sport worldwide. Your child will gain greater appreciation for the game of soccer and the necessity of team work, better understand the importance of knowing other languages, meet other youths from around the world, develop new friendships, and sample diverse foods.
- What if my child already plays for a club team?
- The travel team comprises of players from various teams. Samba hand-picks the best players from various regions in order to form a winning team. Samba’s travel team offers exposure and enhances team-building skill; therefore, traveling with Samba does not affect your child’s status with his or her club team.
- Can anyone else travel with the team?
- We encourage parents, relatives, and friends, whom we call Boosters, to accompany our players. Our Boosters are catered to with their own itinerary which ensures that in addition to soccer, they have lots of interesting alternative activities to enjoy.
